 Employment at Willow Lake
At Willow Lake we know that a professional, caring staff is the key to a great camp. We are looking for individuals who love kids and love spending time outdoors during the summer months. If you are creative and flexible, enthusiastic and nurturing, up for the challenge and down to earth, Willow Lake may be the perfect place for you to spend your summer.
The following positions are available each summer:
Junior Counselors: Must be at 16 years old (or entering junior year of high school) through 19 years old. Must have experience with children -- babysitting, volunteer work, or camping experience.
Senior Counselors: Must have completed at least one year of college. Many of our counselors are college graduates and teachers. Experience working with children is a requirement. Swim Staff: Must be a certified lifeguard.
Ropes Staff: Must be entering college or older with some experience climbing and belaying. We will train and certify for our course.
Specialists: Professional experience in a specialty area (ie: athletics, art, theater, music, nature, science, etc.)
*Salaries for specialists are determined by job and experience. A salary guide is in effect for all other staffing positions.
