Adventure Facilities

A World-Class Playground for Exploration

Willow Lake is home to one of the most comprehensive adventure settings in New Jersey. With professional-grade equipment, imaginative play spaces, and age-appropriate challenges, we’ve created an environment where curiosity, creativity, and adventure come together in a setting that is both safe and inspiring.

Outdoor Adventure

Where Courage Grows One Climb at a Time

Put on your harness, strap on your helmet, and get ready to fly. Our highly trained staff safely guide campers through our Outdoor Adventure Program, where the sky is the limit. Maybe it’s one of our six ziplines – highlighted by Skyrider, our breathtaking 450-foot double zipline that sends campers racing over the lake. Or perhaps you’re navigating one of the tiered challenges in our Adventure Park, where three different courses offer obstacles for campers of all ability levels. You might even be making a run for the top of our 30-foot climbing tower.

Creative Play

Explore. Imagine. Create.

Our Creative Play areas give campers the freedom to explore, imagine, and build their own adventures. In Willow Zone, a three-story covered playground filled with slides, tunnels, bridges, and games, movement and excitement are everywhere. Skyland lifts campers into the trees in a secure netted playground where every path offers multiple choices, encouraging exploration and creativity along the way. In Willow Town, our Little Willows step into a world of imaginative play with a creamery, veterinarian clinic, and grocery store, while Legoland invites campers to construct life-sized creations on a shaded deck using giant building bricks – where imagination truly sets the limits.

Hands-On Adventure

Dig. Aim. Play.

Some of Willow Lake’s most memorable experiences come from hands-on discovery. In Archery, Senior Campers test their aim on the range using both compound and traditional bows. At the Willow Lake Mining Co., Little Willows and Middle Campers pan for jewels, fossils, shark teeth, shells, and even Willow Lake “gold” while learning where these treasures come from and how they are formed.

Nature & Wildlife

Life on The Farm and the Fishing Dock

Campers connect with the natural world at our interactive Farm, where they can feed and care for alpacas, llamas, goats, sheep, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, and reptiles, gaining an appreciation for animals and their responsibility. Down at the water, the fishing dock campers are introduced to our lake’s ecosystem while they practice catch-and-release techniques.

High-Energy Fun on the Track

Campers get behind the wheel for high-spirited races and games on our pedal kart track. With helmets strictly enforced and instructors cheering from the sidelines, campers build coordination and enjoy friendly competition as they race toward the checkered flag.
