Confidence That Lasts a Lifetime
From the first splash at instructional swim to an afternoon cruise down one of our waterslides, aquatics at Willow Lake is where confidence is built and memories are made. At Willow Lake, swimming is more than just an activity – it’s a core experience where campers develop lifelong skills by swimming twice a day in our four pools, each designed to grow with them as they move through the program. Our daily schedule balances progression-based instruction with the pure, unstructured joy of splashing in the water with friends. All of our pools are heated to a comfortable 83–85 degrees, so it’s never too cold to jump in! With a health center on-site and Red Cross–certified staff at every station, our swim program is as safe as it is spirited, helping campers build confidence and learn to swim.
The Willow Lake Fish Program
Instructional swim at Willow Lake is all about making progress fun. Using our signature Fish program, we break down Red Cross swim levels into achievable, exciting milestones that help campers level up at their own pace.
Our Red Cross-certified instructors teach right in the water alongside your child, ensuring constant support and personalized attention. We keep group sizes small so that every camper receives the TLC they need to conquer fears and celebrate new skills – complete with a certificate to bring home and share with the family!

Pure Afternoon Joy
Every afternoon, our campers have the opportunity to take what they’ve learned and put it into play during a supervised, high-energy session of fun. Whether they are racing down our two exhilarating waterslides or simply cooling off with their bunkmates, free swim is a time for campers to unwind and enjoy the magic of summer. Our vigilant lifeguards ensure a safe environment so that the only thing your child has to focus on is which slide to go down next.
Big Splashes, Little Ripples – Where Confidence Begins
The Frog Pool is designed especially for our Little Willows, from Pre-K through Kindergarten. With water just 2–3 feet deep, nurturing lifeguards, a private shaded pavilion, and a playful frog slide at the “deep” end, it’s the perfect place for little swimmers to build confidence and have fun.

Built for Growth, Designed for Fun
Our two Olympic-sized pools are designed specifically for our 1st–4th grade campers as they grow into more advanced swimming. Bigger, deeper, and full of energy, these pools are where swim skills really take off. The Starfish Pool ranges from 3–9 feet deep and features two spectacular waterslides at the deep end, while the Dolphin Pool ranges from 3–6 feet deep and includes a three-foot perimeter along the edge, creating an ideal environment for swim instruction. Together, these pools give our campers the perfect place to take the plunge into the next level of swim progression – where confidence grows, friendships deepen, and learning to swim starts to feel like pure fun.

Splash, Play, and Hang Out
Every Senior camper knows the best place to beat the heat – and catch up with friends – is The Cove Pool and Game Complex. Designed just for our 5th–10th graders, this favorite hangout features a signature pool with waterfalls, a perimeter in-water bench for relaxing, and a sun deck with in-water lounge chairs. Right next door, campers gather under the shaded pavilion to play cornhole, ping pong, and foosball, or just hang out on comfy couches with friends. They can also stop by the tiki hut to cool off with Sno & Co. snow cones.
